Description
According to the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) one in four adults live with a mental illness in this country. And suicide is the third leading cause of death in teenagers. Every community needs help and support in understanding mental illnesses. This workshop, sponsored by NAMI Minnesota (National Alliance on Mental Illness) offers info on mental illnesses, treatments, recovery, coping strategies, the mental health system and local resources. Learn about the help and hope that is available to community members. The class is free but pre-registration is required. Visit www.namihelps.org under classes.
