LCHS History Hunt

Description

The Lyon County Historical Society is calling all families, individuals, and history lovers alike to participate in their Lyon County History Hunt!  This free activity begins Monday October 14.  The scavenger hunt form can be found onsite at the Lyon County Museum, Marshall-Lyon County Library, Cottonwood Library, Minneota Library, Tracy Library, and on LCHS's Facebook page.  All completed scavenger hunts must be received at the Lyon County Museum no later than Friday November 8 by 5:00PM.

Participants will be given a list of questions which they will have to travel to, research, or use online resources in order to complete the scavenger hunt.  Every participant who completes the Lyon County History Hunt will receive a prize.  All correct submissions will be placed into a drawing for either $50 in Marshall Chamber Bucks or a special birthday party (any age) for 12 people at the Lyon County Museum.  A separate drawing will be held for those who email a photograph of themselves by any of the locations.
