Caitlyn VanDamme
Caitlyn VanDamme is the Communications Specialist for Public Health at Southwest Health and Human Services. With a Bachelor of Science in Speech Communications—emphasizing Public Relations and complemented by a minor in Marketing—Caitlyn leads both internal and external communications for the agency. Her work includes key initiatives such as launching CredibleMind, a free, community-focused mental health platform designed to support well-being across the region.
She is passionate about making public health information accessible and empowering communities through education and connection. Caitlyn is especially committed to spreading awareness about CredibleMind and helping reduce the stigma surrounding mental health by promoting open dialogue and trusted resources.
Caitlyn welcomes opportunities to collaborate on public health initiatives and community education efforts. She is actively looking for individuals and organizations to help share CredibleMind and spark meaningful community conversations about mental health and well-being.
Outside of work, Caitlyn enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and two children—gardening, helping on the farm, and creating joyful memories filled with laughter.
