Avera is currently seeking Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) who are looking to deliver the best possible nursing care in Avera’s patient-focused settings.

Job Summary

• The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) performs an active role in nursing, as well as mentoring staff, assessing residents, communicating with staff, physicians and residents.
• The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will serve as a resident advocate for quality clinical care.
• The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) maintains confidentiality of patients, visitors, organization personnel and organization business in general.

Education and/or Experience

• Graduate from an accredited two-year college or technical school for professional nursing.
• Long Term Care and Geriatric services experience preferred.

Licensure/Certification/Registration

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the State of Minnesota required.
• CPR Required.

Work Schedule

• Varied shifts as needed per casual requirements, PRN
• 1 weekend day per month
• 1 Holiday per year
