Job Summary
- The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist is accountable for providing anesthesia care for surgical and procedural patients within the Avera Marshall region.
- Responsible for anesthesia care of surgical patients, obstetric anesthesia, and acute and chronic pain management.
- Ultrasound-guided regional including, but not limited to ISB, Axillary, Femoral, TAP and Adductor Canal/Saphenous blocks.
- Providing airway management and other related interventions to emergency situations
Education and/or Experience
- Graduate of an approved nurse anesthesia program required
- Master’s or Doctorate Degree in Nurse Anesthesia preferred.
- Proficient in peripheral nerve blocks preferred
Certification, Licensure, and/or Registrations
- Required Upon hire
- Licensed as an APRN in the State of Minnesota and board certified or eligible from the National Board on Certification and Recertification of Nurse Anesthetists
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
Work Schedule
- Varied Shifts; 80 hours every 2 weeks
- Weekend, holiday, and on-call rotations
