Avera is currently seeking Registered Nurses (RN) looking to deliver the best possible nursing care in Avera’s patient-focused settings.

Job Summary

The Registered Nurse in Dialysis is accountable for providing care and treatment, within the scope of nursing practice, to patients on maintenance dialysis.

Education and/or Experience

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
  • Bachelor’s in Nursing preferred.
  • One year or more working in a clinical setting.
  • At least 3 months working in Dialysis required.
  • Med/Surg, CCU, or Emergency Unit experience preferred.

Licensure/Certification/Registration

  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Minnesota required upon hire.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required within 3 months of hire.
  • Nephrology certification preferred.

Work Schedule

  • Three 12-hour shifts per week, every third weekend, occasional holiday; 72 hours every 2 weeks
